Dam body tilt monitoring

The dam body tilt monitoring uses fixed inclinometers with a range of ±30° and a sensitivity of ≤9″. The fixed inclinometers are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the dam within the concrete core wall and on the downstream side of the dam in two directions, with three sections arranged at dam cross-sections 0+021.00, 0+041.00, and 0+061.00. One section is equipped with fixed inclinometers spaced 5m apart in the elevation direction. The installation elevation of all equipment and the elevation of the pipe openings can be adjusted appropriately based on site conditions and accurately recorded. The inclinometer pipes of the dam body and SC50 steel pipes serve as signal cable protection pipes. Each group of signal cables is enclosed in an SC50 protective steel pipe outside the inclinometer pipe. The quantity of signal cables and protective steel pipes can be adjusted as necessary based on actual occurrences. The protective steel pipes, data acquisition box casing, and the dam's lightning grounding system are reliably connected using flat steel. Both the flat steel and protective steel pipes need to be hot-dip galvanized.

The statistical table for the dam body tilt monitoring at dam cross-section 0+041.00 is shown in Table 4: Characteristics statistical table of the inclinometer at 0+041.00. The implementation for cross-sections 0+021.00 and 0+061.00 is referenced, and the engineering quantity is calculated based on the actual occurrence.
