Solar photovoltaic power generation tracking system tilt sensor

Solar power generation is divided into two types: solar photovoltaic (PV) generation and solar thermal generation. Currently, the development speed of solar photovoltaic generation is faster and more rapid, making it a rapidly developing field. Countries such as China, the United States, Europe, Japan, India, and Australia are developing quickly. Msensor Sensors has developed more than a dozen different models of tilt sensors for photovoltaic tracking systems to meet the needs of customers in different countries.

Components of the solar photovoltaic tracking system:

1. The solar photovoltaic tracking system generally consists of tilt sensors, motors, worm gears, and controllers. Depending on specific applications, the solar photovoltaic tracking system is divided into three types: horizontal single-axis tracking systems, inclined single-axis tracking systems, and dual-axis tracking systems. This not only comprehensively improves the power generation of the power station but also adapts better to various complex terrains and application scenarios.

2. The solar photovoltaic tracking system needs to adjust the tilt angle of the solar photovoltaic panels so that they can timely adjust according to the movement of the sun, ensuring that sunlight is always perpendicular to the solar photovoltaic panels to obtain the maximum solar radiation.

3. Although the angle of the sun changes significantly throughout the day, the angle of sunlight remains almost constant over a certain period. The system can calculate the position and angle of the sun for each day of the year based on the local latitude and longitude, and store this information in the controller's software. This allows for the comparison of the angle information of the photovoltaic panels measured by the tilt sensors with the stored angle information of the sun, thereby controlling the motor to adjust the photovoltaic panels to the optimal position.

4. The tilt sensor, as the real-time measuring eye in the solar photovoltaic tracking system, is one of the key devices for optimizing solar energy reception. There are certain accuracy requirements for tilt sensors. The tilt sensors independently developed by Msensor Sensors are already mature applications in multiple solar photovoltaic projects on the market.

Msensor Sensors recommends thetilt sensormodel: MK126M-ZX-360 (RS485), with a maximum measurement angle range of 360°, RS485 output, using industrial components with stable performance, high reliability, and protective functions against contact and misconnection, as well as resistance to wind, sand, salt mist, and ultraviolet rays, fully considering the complex application scenarios of solar photovoltaics.

Msensor Sensors recommends the tilt sensor model for dual-axis photovoltaic tracking systems: MK336M-360 (RS485), with a dual-axis structure, horizontal installation, measuring tilt angles in the X and Y axis directions, measurement range of ±90 degrees, and analog voltage output. All products use industrial components with stable performance, high reliability, and protective functions against contact and misconnection.
