Monitoring of tunnel settlement and deformation using static level instruments
Static level gauge for tunnel bottom settlement and deformation
Within a range of 150 meters from the tunnel entrance in both left and right tunnels, static level gauges are evenly arranged at 10-meter intervals on the tunnel bottom and the side lining walls to monitor tunnel settlement and vertical deformation, as shown in the figure below.

1.1.1 System composition
The longitudinal deformation monitoring at the tunnel entrance consists of static level gauges, data acquisition instruments/photoelectric transmission units, etc.
