Msensor Sensor Chang Tianlong Ship Inclination Monitoring System Solution

The "Ship Inclination Monitoring System" replaces the currently temporarily used level gauge observation method, with the specific implementation plan as follows.

  1. System Features

The "Ship Inclination Monitoring System" does not interfere with the original "Six-Point Draft Monitoring System", but can complement each other. The "Ship Inclination Monitoring System" can achieve real-time display of inclination angles, over-limit alarm reminders, data storage, and customized functions as needed, making up for the shortcomings of the "Six-Point Draft Monitoring System" which only displays the ship's draft.

  2. Implementation Approach

  (1) One dual-axis inclination sensor is arranged at the bow.Dual-axis inclination sensor, connected via wired method to the terminal display located at the ballast control console, facilitating observation by the ballast personnel. By comparing with the inclination display in the middle of the ship, dual-machine redundancy is achieved, avoiding the inability to monitor the ship's inclination due to the failure of a single sensor, which would affect construction.

  (2) One dual-axis inclination sensor is arranged in the middle of the ship, connected via wired method to the LED large screen display in the ship, which is eye-catching and easy to read, aiding the on-site command to flexibly direct based on the ship's status. It can also be used for real-time monitoring of the ship's floating state and has an over-limit alarm reminder function. When small-scale rotation lifting does not require ballast adjustment, the ballast control console does not need dedicated personnel to monitor.

  (3) One wireless dual-axis inclination sensor is arranged at the stern, connected via wireless method to the terminal display located in the crane driver's cabin (wireless transmission needs to be tested on-site for signal stability before confirmation).

The system schematic diagram is as follows.
