Msensor Sensor [New HMI Series Fixed Inclinometer]

  The HMI series fixed inclinometers are used in situations where conventional portable inclinometers are difficult to read on-site, as well as for data transmission monitoring of deformation in various geotechnical materials and steel structures. They are widely applicable for long-term embedding in hydraulic structures or other concrete buildings (such as port edges), high-rise buildings, underground structures, tunnel convergence, arch body convergence deformation, and internal or surface slopes of geotechnical materials, measuring the vertical direction horizontal displacement (deformation) or horizontal direction settlement (uplift) of the foundation or structure after tilting. This model has various structural forms and is equipped with different installation accessories to fully meet various installation needs.

 1. Technical Parameters

  1. The fixed inclinometer consists of an inclination sensor, measuring rod, guide wheel, signal transmission cable, etc. Typically, multiple fixed inclinometers are connected in series within the inclinometer tube, measuring the tilt angle of the structure being tested through the inclination sensors installed at each elevation, thus describing the deformation curve of the structure. At the same time, the measured values can calculate the horizontal displacement within the range of 500mm of the measuring rod. The inclinometer can be assembled in series with multiple units or set up as an independent measuring unit, and can be recovered and reused. The inclinometer can easily achieve automated tilt measurement.

  2. The inclinometer uses the vertical line as the axis, with the side inclined towards the high-end guide wheel being positive (reading increases) and the side inclined towards the other side being negative (reading decreases).

 2. Measurement Direction

  1. Place the sensor in the working space;

  2. Set the initial value, the positive and negative of the X-axis, to obtain angle data;

  3. Exchange directions to obtain another set of data;

  4. The zero point position is taken as the average value of the two sets of data.

  3. Working Principle

  The fixed inclinometer (intelligent) is widely used for measuring horizontal displacement, vertical settlement, and landslides of structures such as earth-rock dams, panel dams, geotechnical slopes, embankments, and foundation pits. The fixed inclinometer, in conjunction with the inclinometer tube, can be reused, facilitating the automatic collection of measurement data.
