Msensor Sensor Tilt Switch Charging Pile Anti-Tipping Safety Monitoring

The working principle of the tilt switch 'anti-tipping': When the main unit tilts or falls, the ball inside the tilt switch displaces due to its gravity. The detachment of the ball causes the pressure plate to return to its original position, and the switch instantly disconnects and stops working. When the main unit is upright, the ball returns to its original position, and the main unit continues to operate normally.

Power cut-off for the charging pile when tilted: When the charging pile is connected to the vehicle and powered on, it should ensure that the charging pile does not lose power when tilted in any direction. The charging pile should have a tilt shutdown power cut-off function to avoid secondary electric shock injuries to personnel caused by accidental collisions.

A tilt switch is set on the body of the charging pile, which can detect whether the charging pile is in a normal state or a tilted state. When the charging pile is in a tilted state, the tilt switch sends a signal, and the charging pile controller cuts off the power upon receiving the signal. At the same time, the signal is transmitted to the cloud system, allowing maintenance personnel to check which area’s charging pile is in a tilted state based on the information from the cloud system for maintenance care.

LVT536T-Z is a high-performance single-channel switch output tilt switch launched by Msensor Sensor, capable of measuring tilt angles in any direction with a horizontal 360° vertical attitude. When the tilt angle exceeds the preset threshold, it will output a switch signal to drive the solenoid valve. The alarm threshold is calibrated at the factory, and it has a built-in relay; it can also output a voltage signal (output voltage = supply voltage), and users can set their own alarm angle threshold.
